JUDGEMENT

(1.) The present criminal appeal has been preferred by the accused appellants against the judgment and order dated 19.12.2000 passed by learned Additional Session Judge, Sitapur in Sessions Trial No. 443 of 1996 (Sate Vs. Munna and others) convicting both the appellants under Section 364 of the Indian Penal code and sentencing duo to five years rigorous imprisonment along with fine of Rs. 5000 each with default stipulation.

(2.) Appellant No. 2, namely, Siraj died and as such, the present appeal in respect of him stood abated.
