JUDGEMENT

(1.) HEARD learned Counsel for The parties and pe­rused the record.

(2.) THIS writ petition has been filed against the impugned award dated 24.11.98 passed by the Central Government Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court, Pandu Nagar, Kanpur, hereinafter referred to as CGIT, Kanpur, in Industrial Dispute No. 141 of 1998 which has been enforced on 21.12.98 by publication on the Notice board.

(3.) IT appears that services of the workman were retrenched w.e.f. 1.8 87 with­out any notice or payment of retrenchment compensation as contemplated under Section 25-F of the Industrial Deputes (Central) Act, 1947.
