JUDGEMENT

(1.) SUDHIR Narain, J. The petitioner seeks writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to regularise his services on the post of Seasonal Collection Peon in Tahsil Karchhana, district Allahabad.

(2.) THE petitioner is working as Seasonal Collection Peon. THE petitioner can make representation to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Karchhana, Al lahabad, respondent No. 3, regarding his regularisation to the post of Collection Peon in accordance with the rules and the principles laid down in Jawahar Lal and others v. District Magistrate, Kanpur Dehat and others, 1995 (2) ESC 38, wherein it was held that Seasonal Collection Peon may be considered for regularisation to the post of Collection Peon considering their past con duct, service and the period they had worked. Such peons can be regularised to the extent of certain percentage of the vacancies which occur.
