JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard Sri Vinod Pras learned counsel for the revisionist and the learned A.G.A.

(2.) Revisionist Lala Ram was convicted by the trial Court under Sec. 324 Penal Code It was sentenced to undergo SI for 3 years a pay a fine of Rs. 5,000.00 and in default of fine to further undergo SI for 8 months

(3.) Appeal preferred by him was partly allowed by the learned Addl. Sessions Judge Conviction of the appellant was maintained and sentence was, however, reduced from 3 years SI to one years RI and fine of Rs. 5,000.00 and in default of payment of fine to undergo RI for 3 months.
