JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner-defendant/tenant.

(2.) By the impugned order dated 17.5.2017 in P.A. Case No. 15 of 2014 (Awdhesh Kumar Jain Vs. Mohammad Sabir), the application of the petitioner-defendant being Paper No. 20-C for cross examination of the respondent-landlord and other person, has been rejected on the ground that the petitioner-defendant has not yet led his evidence. He has filed the application merely to somehow escape from leading evidence. He has not mentioned any point in the application on which he wants cross examination.

(3.) I have examined Application 20-C filed by the petitioner-defendant, which is reproduced below :
