WASHIR AHMAD & ORS Vs. STATE

JUDGEMENT

(1.) Present Criminal Appeal has been filed by the appellants against the judgment and order dated 8.3.1988 passed by the Special Judge (E.C. Act), Jalaun at Orai in Criminal Case No. 1 of 1986 (State Vs. Washir Ahmad and others, Police Station Kalpi, district Jalaun whereby the appellants Washir Ahmad, Ghasi Ram and Durga Singh were convicted and sentenced for the offence under Section 3/7 E. C. Act for a period of three years and six months R.I.

(2.) Appellant Ghasi Ram died during the pendency of the appeal, hence, appeal filed on his behalf was abated vide order dated 6.2.2017. Thus appeal filed on behalf of appellant Washir Ahmad and Durga Singh remained to be decided.
