JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard Mr. Rakesh Srivastava, learned counsel for the petitioners, Mr. Gaurava Mehrotra, learned counsel for the respondents no. 2 and 3 and Mr. K.S. Pawar, learned counsel for the respondents no. 5 and 6.

(2.) This writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "i. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned order dated 21.11.2016 (Annexure No. 1), issued by the opposite party no. 3 and letter dated 23.11.2016 (Annexure No. 2), issued by the opposite party no. 4;

(3.) The petitioner no. 1 is Committee of Management of the Co-operative Society, namely, Godawri Sahakari Avas Samiti Limited, Lucknow and the petitioner no. 2 claims to be its Vice President. It is not in dispute that the Co-operative Society involved is a primary society and not the apex society.
