(2.) PETITIONER Manoj Suyal has filed this writ petition for the follow ing reliefs: "i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the transfer order dated 31-8-2006 passed by Assistant General Manager, Allahabad Bank, Zonal Of ficer, Clock Tower, Dehradun, the respondent no. 3 annexed as Annexure No. 5 to this writ petition. II. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the Respondent Authorities to per mit the petitioner to continue 1 on the post of Manager, Allahabad Bank, Kichcha Branch, Udham Singh Nagar and pay the regular monthly salary. III. Issue any other writ, order or direction which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case. IV. Award the costs of the petition in favour of the petitioner. "

ON due consideration of the submissions of the learned counsel for the parties; the fact that the petitioner was working as Branch Manager of the Kichha Branch of Allahabad Bank at the time of his transfer vide im pugned order (Annexure 5) dated 31-8-2006; the fact that the petitioner's grievance about his frequent transfer is not borne out from the facts nar rated in the preceding paragraph, from which it is apparent that his transfer during the period 2000 to 2006 was within the same district of Udham Singh Nagar, we do not find any in firmity in the impugned order (Annexure 5) dated 31-05- 2006, whereby the petitioner, now, stands transferred to Bahraich, which may warrant interference in this writ peti tion.
