(3.) IN the result, the revision is dismissed. The conviction of the accused- revisionist under Section 25 of the Arms Act is maintained. However, his sentence of imprisonment is reduced to the period of imprisonment already suffered by him so far but a sentence of fine of Rs. 1,000 is imposed on him in lieu of the period of imprisonment reduced. The: amount of fine shall be paid by the accused revisionist within a period of three months from today. IN default of payment of fine, the accused-revisionist shall be taken into custody and he shall suffer rigorous imprisonment for a period of three months.
