JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE challenge in the present writ petition is to an order passed by the Joint Director of Education dated 18.04.2015 finalizing the general body of the Committee of Management and primarily upholding the enrollment and inclusion of 2732 life members who were inducted alledgedly during the period 2011 to 2014.

(2.) SRI Vinod Sinha, learned counsel, who has appeared on behalf of the contesting opposite parties Nos. 6, 7 and 8, has taken a preliminary objection to the maintainability of the writ petition and locus standi of the petitioner himself to assail the order aforementioned by means of the present writ petition.

(3.) SRI Sinha has submitted that admittedly the petitioner is only a life member and therefore a constituent of the general body of the Committee of Management. It is further submitted by him that in paragraph 7 of the writ petition, the petitioner admits that he was an Ex -Manager and life member of the General Body of the institution. He therefore contends that this challenge on the basis of an individual member should not be entertained.
