JUDGEMENT

(1.) HEARD learned counsel for the petitioners as well as learned Additional Government Advocate for the State. None appeared for opposite party no.2 even after list was revised.

(2.) PRESENT petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. by accused -petitioners Smt. Sona Devi and Smt. Vidya Devi with prayer to quash the proceedings of Criminal Case No.425 of 2007 pending in the Court of 7th Upper Judicial Magistrate, Gonda.

(3.) LEARNED counsel for the petitioners contended that on complaint filed by opposite party no.2 (Smt. Radhau Devi vs. Smt. Sona Devi and others) Criminal Case No.425 of 2007 has been registered and after having recorded statements under Sections 200 and 202 Cr.P.C., learned Additional Judicial Magistrate VIIth, Gonda has summoned accused -petitioners (Smt. Sona Devi and Smt. Vidya Devi) for offence under Section 420 I.P.C.
