JUDGEMENT

(1.) HEARD learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Rajiv Singh Chauhan, learned counsel appearing for BSA, Sitapur.

(2.) SUBMISSION of learned counsel for the petitioner is that in the application form for appointment as Assistant Teacher in place of the name of her father, the petitioner has written the name of her mother and further while describing the TET Roll number, some mistake has crept in and one digit in the said roll number has wrongly been indicated. His further submission is that the aforesaid mistake are a result of human error and for such humanly possible error, the petitioner is being deprived of her right of consideration of appointment though she is legally entitled to the same.

(3.) ON the basis of instructions received, learned counsel appearing for BSA has submitted that one post for the petitioner has been reserved pending final decision to be taken by the authorities in the matter. He has also stated that the District Basic Education Officer, Sitapur has apprised the aforesaid mistake of the petitioner which has crept in inadvertently in her application form to the Secretary, Basic Education Board, Allahabad. He has also stated that the District Selection Committee in its meeting held on 12.01.2014 has taken decision to proceed with the guidance of Secretary, Basic Education Board, Allahabad. The Secretary, Basic Education Board, Allahabad by means of his letter dated 23.01.2014 has directed the Basic Education Officer to take decision in the matter through the District Selection Committee. Till date, no decision in the matter has been taken by the District Selection Committee.
