JUDGEMENT

(1.) Ms. Anjana Chaturvedi, learned counsel holding brief of Sri S.S. Chauhan, for the petitioners states that the petitioner no. 2, Smt. Janki Devi Dixit does not want to contest this writ petition. Therefore, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn, so far as the petitioner no.2 is concerned.

(2.) Heard Sri Bhoopendra Nath Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner in both the writ petitions and Sri V.S. Mishra, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents and perused the documents on record.

(3.) The petitioner in this writ petition is seeking quashing of the order dated 04.05.1993 whereby his claim for grant of salary has been rejected by the Joint Director of Education (Finance), U.P., Lucknow.
