JUDGEMENT

(1.) HEARD Sri Rahul Jain, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri T.K. Singh, learned counsel holding brief of Sri Nikhil Kumar, learned counsel for respondent No.3 and learned Standing Counsel for respondent Nos. 1 and 2.

(2.) THE present writ petition is filed with the prayer to issue mandamus commanding respondents to appoint the petitioner on the post of Principal in Seth Radha Krishna Poddar Inter College, Chitrakoot Dham in pursuance of the select panel dated 11.12.2008.

(3.) THE contention is that pursuant to the advertisement issued by the Selection Board dated 24.12.1999 the petitioner has appeared in the interview held on 27.7.2001. However, he was not informed of the result of interview either from the office of the District Inspector of Schools or from the Commission.
