(2.) THE instant writ petition arises out of proceedings under section 198 (4) of the U.P. Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Act (hereinafter referred to as the 'Act') and is directed against the order dated 5.2.2014 passed by the Board of Revenue in Revision No. 62 (Z) (M) of 2002 -03 and the order dated 28.6.2003 passed by the Additional Commissioner, Meerut Division, Meerut.
(3.) FACTS of the case, briefly stated, are that proceedings under section 198(4) of the Act were initiated against the petitioners on the basis a report, submitted by the Tehsildar, Baghpat. The District Magistrate/Collector by his judgment dated 25.10.2002 affirmed the allotment in favour of the petitioners. Aggrieved, the Land Management Committee preferred a revision being Revision No. 9 of 2002 -03.
