(1.) HEARD Sri G.S. Chaturvedi, learned Senior Counsel assisted by Sri Pratik J. Nagar, learned counsel for the applicants, Sri Prabhakar Awasthi, learned Counsel for the opposite party No. 2, Sri Neeraj Kant Verma, learned AGA for State and perused the record of the case. Parties to the case have filed their respective affidavits in support of their contention.

THE present 482 Cr.P.C. petition has been filed for quashing the charge sheet dated 12.12.2014 pursuant to the FIR dated 18.09.2014 lodged by the opposite party No. 2, the summoning order dated 16.12.2014 passed by the Judicial Magistrate II, Allahabad and the entire criminal proceedings of Case No. 1808 of 2014 (State of Uttar Pradesh Vs. P. P. Marandi and others) arising out of Case Crime No. 480 of 2014, under sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 406 IPC, PS George Town, District Allahabad, pending in the Court of Judicial Magistrate - II, Allahabad.

THE contention of the learned senior counsel for the applicants is that no offence against the applicants is disclosed and the present prosecution has been instituted with a malafide intention for the purposes of harassment. He pointed out certain documents and statements in support of his contention.
