JUDGEMENT

(1.) HEARD Sri M.K.Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioners, Sri Mohd. Shere Ali, learned counsel for the respondent no.4 and learned Standing Counsel for the respondent nos.1 to 3.

(2.) BY this writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction to the respondents to consider his claim for appointment under the Dying -in -Harness Rules.

(3.) FROM the averments in the writ petition, it appears that father of the petitioner, who was working as Assistant Teacher in the Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru Inter College Bargah Lehara, Maharajganj, died on 1.3.2008 while still in service. In para -8 of the writ petition it is stated that the petitioner submitted his representation seeking compassionate appointment on 1.4.2009, copy of which has been filed as Annexure -3 to the writ petition.
