JUDGEMENT

(1.) HEARD Sri Shishir Pradhan, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel.

(2.) SINCE counter and rejoinder affidavit's have been exchanged, this writ petition is being disposed of finally.

(3.) THE petitioner was appointed on the post of copyist on 20.10.1969 in the office of opposite parties nos. 1 and 2 and later on the petitioner was promoted on the post of Administrative officer. On 25.2.2004, the daughter -in -law of the petitioner committed suicide in his house. The petitioner was arrested. Later on a criminal case was registered against the petitioner and others under section 498A read with section 304 -B of the Indian Penal Code and section 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act. The petitioner was arrested but was later on released on bail. The criminal case is still pending.
