JUDGEMENT

(1.) HEARD Sri Gautam Baghel, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents and perused the record.

(2.) THE writ petition is directed against order dated 9.9.2010 passed by Director, State Council for Education, Research and Training, U.P. Lucknow (hereinafter referred to as "Director, SCERT") rejecting her candidature for admission in Special B.T.C. Course, 2007.

CLAIMING herself to be an Other Backward Class candidate belong to the caste "Jaat" in the State of Rajasthan and now married to Sri Rakesh Babu resident of Agra, who also belong to 'Jaat' community in the State of U.P. The petitioner applied for Special B.T.C. Training -2007. Before her marriage in 2003, she was residing at Bharatpur (Rajasthan). A caste certificate was issued to her on 26.9.2000 in which 'Jaat' in Rajasthan being in the notification of Scheduled Caste, she was certified to be an OBC. It is this certificate, which was submitted by her along with application form, which has not been found in conformity with para 3 of the advertisement published for Special B.T.C. Training Course, 2007. In support of her submission that 'Jaat' is also an OBC in State of U.P., petitioner obtained another certificate on 19.8.2009 and submitted the same but this certificate has not been given due credit being a subsequently obtained document.
