JUDGEMENT

(1.) THIS application u/s. 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed with the prayer to quash the entire criminal proceedings of Case No. 1708 of 2009 (Smt. Soni Sharma Vs. Arvind and others) u/s. 498A I.P.C. read with Section - 3/4 of D.P. Act, P.S. -Nagar, District -Basti pending in the Court of Judicial Magistrate -II, Court No. 13, Basti as well as impugned summoning order dated 08.09.2009 passed by the learned Magistrate.

(2.) IT seems that in order to explore the possibility of an amicable settlement between the parties, the matter was referred to undergo mediation proceedings. The report of Mediation Centre dated 5.8.2011 reveals that the aforesaid attempt has resulted in a mutual settlement between the parties on their own terms and conditions.
