JUDGEMENT

(1.) WRIT Petition No. 9155 (S/S) of 1990

(2.) THROUGH the instant writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for issuing a writ of mandamus commanding the opposite parties to treat the petitioner having been placed in the pay scale admissible to the post of Senior Branch Manager.

(3.) THE petitioner was appointed as a Clerk in the District Co -operative Bank on 6.12.1971 and he was confirmed as such with effect from 6.12.1972. Vide order dated 20.8.1997 issued by the Administrator of the Bank he was posted as Incharge Branch Manager in the Bank at Khiri. After completion of five years service on the post of Clerk he was promoted to the post of Junior Branch Manager vide order dated 20.11.1990.
