JUDGEMENT

(1.) HEARD Mr. Sudeep Seth, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel.

(2.) THE petitioner has assailed the order dated 27.12.2013 issued by the Research Officer, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe, Research and Training Institute, U.P. Lucknow (in short ''the Institute').

(3.) BY means of order impugned, the petitioner has been denied from the benefit of pension on the ground that he has completed only 8 years, 7 months and 6 days' service from the date of his regular appointment whereas the requisite period for payment of pension is 10 years' continuous service.
