JUDGEMENT

(1.) HEARD Sri O.P. Mishra, learned counsel for petitioner, Sri K.K. Shukla, learned State counsel and perused the record.

(2.) BY means of the present writ petition, the petitioner has challenged the order dated 04.02.2014 (Annexure No. 1) passed by District Magistrate, Balrampur/O.P.No. 2 ceasing the administrative and financial power of the petitioner who is the Pradhan of Gram Panchayat Juavara Post and Vikash Khand Rehra Bazar.

(3.) FACTS in brief of the present case are that petitioner/Sri Subhash Chand Verma has been elected Village Pradhan in the year 2010 of Gram Panchayat Juwara, Naya Panchayat - Saray Khash, Block Rehra Bazar, Tehsil -Utraula District -Balrampur. While he was working and discharging his duties on the said post, a complaint has been received against him in respect to his functioning and misuse of the amount towards under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Adhiniyam (MNREGA) scheme.
