JUDGEMENT

(1.) The controversy involved in the all the writ petition is common. For facility, the facts of Writ Petition No. 34377 of 2007 is taken into consideration. The petitioner, upon completion of 10 years of services was granted a pay-scale of Rs. 975-1500 w.e.f. 1.1.1990 and, upon completion of 16 years of service, was given the pay-scale of Rs. 1350-2200 w.e.f. 1.1.1995. The pay-scale of Rs. 1350-2200 was revised by a Government Order dated 31.12.1997 to the pay-scale of Rs. 4500-7000 and, based on the said Government Order, the petitioner was getting her salary in the pay-scale of Rs. 4500-7000.

(2.) By the impugned order dated 13.7.2007, the order dated 13.6.2002 was set aside as a result of which, the revised pay-scale, which the petitioner was getting w.e.f. 1.1.1996 has been set aside. The petitioner, being aggrieved, has filed the present writ petition.

(3.) In counter-affidavit the respondents have admitted that notice or opportunity of hearing was not given to the respondents, contending that the pay-scale had wrongly been given to him and when this fact was realized the impugned order was passed.
