JUDGEMENT

(1.) We have heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Learned Standing Counsel appears for the State respondents.

(2.) The petitioner has made an application under (The) Right to Information Act, 2005 ( in short, the Act) seeking information with regard to the expenditures made by the Village Pradhan of Gram Hatawa, Tehsil Mehadawal, District Sant Kabir Nagar on various developmental activities and Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Guarantee Scheme. It is alleged that the information has not been provided within the time stipulated in the Act. The petitioner has filed an appeal in the State Information Commission, which is pending.

(3.) By this writ petition the petitioner has prayed for a direction commanding the respondents to provide the required information as contained in annexure no.1 to the writ petition by disposing of the application dated 19.9.2012.
