JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Syed Ali Murtaza, learned AGA for the State.

(2.) This writ petition has been filed with the prayer to quash the First Information Report, registered as Case Crime No. 26 of 2020, under Sec. 504 IPC and Sec. 67 IT Act, Police Station Meerganj, District Jaunpur.

(3.) Allegation in the First Information Report is to the effect that highly derogatory remarks are made by the petitioner from his facebook ID against the Prime Minister, Home Minister and other Ministers of Government of India.
