JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard Shri S. D. Pathak, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.

(2.) This writ petition arises out of proceedings under the U. P. Imposition of Ceiling on Land Holdings Act, 1960. The Prescribed Authority proceeded in the matter and vide order dated 21st of March, 1994 declared certain land as surplus.

(3.) The petitioner claiming herself to be a divorced wife of Gurubachan Singh filed an appeal against the said order on the ground that she had no knowledge of the said order.?
