JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard learned counsel for the revisionist.

(2.) Learned counsel for the revisionist had relied upon a decision in the case of Amit Vs. State of U.P., 1999 Crl LJ 1878 to press his point that this revision is maintainable under Sec. 53 of Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2000, consequent upon the dismissal of the appeal by Sessions Judge, Baghpat, as a result of which he has been denied bail despite having been declared juvenile below 18 years of age.

(3.) I am of the view that the revision does lie and it is admitted.
