DHARMVEER SINGH Appellant
V/S
STATE OF U P Respondents

JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents. Petitioner has been placed under suspension on the ground that during the office hours petitioner was in intoxicated state. Petitioner submitted that a charge-sheet has been issued to him and he has also submitted reply but thereafter no steps whatsoever taken and direction is required to conclude the enquiry. Petitioner's further grievance is that subsistence allowance has not been paid.

(2.) Consequently, without interfering in the impugned order of suspension the authority concern is directed to see and ensure that disciplinary proceeding is concluded in accordance with law, subject to full cooperation being extended by the petitioner, preferably within period of next three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. It is further directed that if the petitioner has fulfilled the terms and conditions of suspension in that case, the subsistence allowance shall be paid to him. With these observations, writ petition is disposed of.
