JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard Shri Vijay Gautam, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.

(2.) Petitioner after selection was recruited and appointed as a Constable in police force on 5.7.2005. After completing training he was posted as Constable at Reserve Police Lines, Bulandshahar on 4.6.2006 and thereafter at Police Station, City Kotwali, Bulandshahar on 9.6.2006. On 15.9.2006, he was transferred to Police Station, Aagauta, Bulandshahar.

By means of order dated 14.8.2007 passed by the Senior Superintendent of Police, Bulandshahar, the selection of the petitioner has been cancelled on the ground that at the time of recruitment, he filed a false affidavit in relation to column provided for declaration in respect of criminal cases registered or pending against him as he failed to disclose Case Crime No. 107 of 1999 under Sections 323, 324 and 504 I.P.C.
