(1.) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel and Mr. S.N. Singh, appearing for the contesting respondent No. 4 and also perused the record.
(2.) By means of this petition filed under Art. 226 of the Constitution of India, petitioner challenges the validity of the order dated 16.2.2001 passed by respondent No. 1.
(3.) From the statement of fact made in the writ petition, it appears that the Consolidation Officer allotted four chaks in favour of the petitioner by order dated 14.6.1996. Challenging the validity of the said order, an appeal was filed by the contesting respondent No. 4, which was allowed by respondent No. 2 by judgment and order dated 21.5.1999. Challenging the validity of the said order, petitioner filed a revision before the Deputy Director of Consolidation, who dismissed the same by its judgment and order dated 16.2.2001 and allotted five chaks to the petitioner. Hence, the present petition.
