JUDGEMENT

(1.) WRIT Petition No. 20744 of 2001 has been filed by Smt. Meenu Paliwal seeking mandamus against respondents 2 and 3 to dispose of the rep resentation dated 2-4-2000. Her version was that the Indian Oil Corporation in vited application from eligible candidates for award of distributorship/dealership for various places including one at village Surir district Mathura. In response to the aforesaid advertisement several applica tions were made. The petitioner, Smt. Meenu Paliwal, also gave an application. On 20th March 2001 interviews were held for the distributorship/dealership. Sri Neeraj Agarwal, respondent No. 4, was selected by the Selection Board. She made representation to the respondents alleg ing that various frauds were committed by Neeraj Agarwal and the Selection Board illegally selected respondent No. 4 for award of the distributor ship/dealership.

(2.) ON behalf of respondents counter-affidavit has been filed. In the counter-af fidavit the decision of the respondents rejecting the representation on 28-4-2001 has been filed. The petitioner has yet not challenged this order.

(3.) THE respondents have already selected the petitioner, Neeraj Agarwal, for the dealership. THE writ petition filed by Neeraj Agarwal is allowed and the respondents are directed to award dealer ship to the petitioner within a month sub ject to completion of formalities which may be required by the respondents. Petition No. 2384612001 allowed; Petition No. 20744/2001 dismissed .
