JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard Sri Gaurav Mehrotra, learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri Vishal Verma, learned State Counsel for the State-respondents.

(2.) Sri Gaurav Mehrotra has filed rejoinder affidavit, today in the Court, the same is taken on record.

(3.) By means of this writ petition, the petitioners have assailed the office memo dated 04.10.2019 passed by the Principal Secretary, Department of Punchayati Raj, U.P., Lucknow rejecting the claim of the petitioners for promotion on the post of Appar Mukhya Adhikari.
