JUDGEMENT

(1.) When the matter was taken up through Video Conferencing, Sri Dileep Kumar, learned counsel for the accused-applicant and learned A.G.A. appeared.

(2.) Present bail application has been filed by the accused-applicant Salam Ansari, who involved in Case Crime No.51 of 2020 under Section 18/20 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (in short "N.D.P.S. Act") at Police Station Purwa, District Unnao.

(3.) Learned Counsel for the applicant submitted that the FIR in issue, has been lodged by S.I. Amar Singh, P.S. Purwa, alleging therein that the applicant and five others were carrying 2.55 grams of Charas illegally when they were arrested, which is much below from commercial quantity of 1 Kg. prescribed in the schedule of the Act, 1985. The accused applicant is in jail since 16.02.2020.
