JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Devesh Vikram, learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents.

(2.) In pith and substance, the petitioner is before this Court with a request commanding the third and fourth respondent to decide the claim/representation of the petitioner dated 23.7.2020 and 13.8.2020 in pursuance of office order dated 20.8.2016 issued by the second respondent.

(3.) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a medical officer and he has been entrusted to conduct post mortem. He further submits that the petitioner is more than 55 years old and in view of the office order dated 20.8.2016, such responsibility cannot be entrusted upon him. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has already made representations before the authorities, which are pending consideration and as such requests that the direction may be issued to the competent authority to decide the same expeditiously in the light of the office order dated 20.8.2016.
