JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard Shri R. B. Tiwari, learned counsel for petitioner and learned State counsel appearing on behalf of opposite parties.

(2.) Petition challenges the order dated 23rd July 2012 passed by Executive Engineer, Construction Dvision-I, Public Works Department, District Pratapgarh whereby the Caste Certificate of petitioner has been disbelieved on the basis of report submitted by Tahsildar concerned.

(3.) As per averments made in the petition, petitioner was appointed as Work Charge Employee on the post of Beldar in year 1982 and the then Tahsildar had issued a Caste Certificate dated 23rd September 1995 certifying petitioner as belonging to Scheduled Castes. The said certificate had been submitted by petitioner for the purposes of regularization of service on the basis of which petitioner's services were regularized by means of order dated 26th March 1997.
