JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard Sri Alok Mishra, learned counsel for petitioner and learned standing counsel for State functionaries.

(3.) It is contended that petitioner had applied for the post of Urdu Translator/Assistant Junior Clerk pursuant to the written examination conducted in the year 1995. In the select list, so prepared, he was placed at Sl.No.22. On 24.2.1995, District Magistrate directed the District Supply Officer, Maharajganj to appoint petitioner as Urdu Translator/Junior Clerk. As the selection process of Urdu Translator was put to challenge, Lucknow Bench of this Court vide order dated 19.5.1995 stayed the selection process.
