JUDGEMENT

(1.) Challenge in this appeal is the judgment and order dated 4.8.1982 passed by V Additional Sessions Judge, Agra in Sessions Trial No. 68 of 1982 (State v. Ramesh Chand), convicting and sentencing the appellant under section 302 I.P.C. for life imprisonment.

(2.) An incident is said to have taken place on 16.8.1981 at about 1300 or 1330 hours. In this incident one Kamala Devi (deceased), daughter of informant died on 16.8.1981.

(3.) Ram Ji Lal (informant) lodged the F.I.R. on the same day at about 21:30 hours at the Police Station Loha Mandi, District Agra under sections 302 I.P.C. vide Case Crime No. 493 of 1981. The distance of the police station from the place of incident is I km.
