JUDGEMENT

(1.) The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner making the following prayers:--

From the averments made in the writ petition, it appears that the petitioner while working as Branch Manager, District Co-operative Bank Ltd,; Branch Rani Ganj, District Ballia was placed under suspension by the order dated 15.2.2008 (Annexure-1 to the writ petition), and the disciplinary- proceeding were initiated against the petitioner. The petitioner was served with charge sheet dated 28.3.2008 (Annexure-2 to the writ petition). The petitioner submitted his reply dated 17.4.2008 (Annexure-3 to the writ petition) in respect of the charges levelled against him in the said charge sheet.

(3.) The petitioner filed a writ petition being Civil Misc. Writ Petition No. 138813 of 2008 before this Court challenging the aforesaid order of suspension passed against the petitioner. By the order dated 4.8.2008 (Annexure-4 to the writ petition), the said writ petition filed by the petitioner was dismissed by this Court with the observation that the "Departmental inquiry shall be concluded very expeditiously, provided the petitioner co-operates and does not seek unnecessary adjournments in the inquiry proceedings."
