JUDGEMENT

(1.) J. C. Mishra, J. This revision has been filed against the judgment and order dated 21-10-1987 passed by VI Additional Sessions Judge, Varanasi dismissing the appeal preferred against the judgment and order dated 17-5- 1986 passed by Chief Judicial Magistrate, Varanasi convicting the revisionists for offence punishable under Section 7/16 of the Prevention of Food Adulteration Act and sentencing him to rigorous imprisonment for three months and to fine of Rs. 5 (K ).

(2.) DESPITE the list being revised, none appears to press the revision.

(3.) ON consideration of the entire facts and circumstances 1 find that the ends of justice do not require that the accused be sent to jail after such a long time.
