JUDGEMENT

(1.) M. Quddusi, J. By means of this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for issuing a writ of certiorari quashing the W. E. category given in the Circular of U. P. Board of High School & Intermediate Education, Allahabad dated 25-7-1988.

(2.) THE petitioner in this petition is the father of a student who appeared in the Intermediate Examinations. THE respon dents received a complaint regarding the support copying of about his son. His result was withheld under WE category. Later on, his result was declared provisionally and provisional mark-sheet was issued on 24-6-1997. THEreafter, the petitioner along with his son appeared before the Regional Secretary, Bareilly and he was asked to fill up a printed/w/or-ma and to file the pedigree of his family. THE respondents exonerated the son of the petitioner as a result of which he obtained 67% marks in the Intermediate Examina tions. Since then the petitioner has sent several representations to declare the WE category as illegal, but nothing has been done by the respondents.
