(1.) R. K. Agrawal, J. The petitioners in these three petitions have been admitted in different courses of M. Sc. (Agriculture) Par 1 at Janta Vedic College, Baraut, dis trict Baghpat, after the last date for admis sion notified by Ch. Charan Singh Univer sity, Meerut had expired. Their admission forms and the examination forms has not been accepted by the University. In para graph Nos. 14 and 19 of the petition No. 16829 of 2000, the petitioners have stated that even after the petitioners have been admitted, the University had permitted one Sri Hari Shanker, who was admitted on 4-2-2000 to fill up the examination form and the roll number was also al lotted. In paragraph No. 19 of the writ petition, it has been stated that the University has permitted three other stu dents, who have been admitted after the petitioners have admitted to fill up the examination forms and the roll numbers have also been allotted. The averments made in paragraph Nos. 14 and 19 of the writ petition has not been denied by the University Authorities in the counter-af fidavit filed by Sri S. C. Bharadwaj. Only this much has* been stated that the aver ments made in the said paragraphs are matter of record and need no reply. Thus, the fact that those students mentioned in paragraph Nos. 14 and 19 of the petition, have been admitted subsequently and have been allotted roll numbers for the ex amination of M. Sc. (Agriculture) Part-I has not been denied. The University can not discriminate. The action of the univer sity in not accepting the admission forms of the petitioners and examination form of the students in all the three petitions is arbitrary and highly discriminatory, which cannot be permitted. Thus, the Registrar, Ch. Charan Singh University, is directed to accept the admission and examination forms of the petitioners. Since, by virtue of the interim order passed by this Court, the petitioners appeared in the examination of M. Sc. (Agriculture) Part-I. The Registrar, Ch. Charan Singh University, Meerut, is directed to declare the result and permit them to pursue further studies in accordance with law.
(2.) WITH the aforesaid observations, the writ petitions succeed and are allowed. Petitions allowed. .
