JUDGEMENT

(1.) These petitions have been filed to direct the concerned respondent police to consider the representations submitted by the petitioners and pass appropriate orders for providing police protection and permission for conducting cultural programme (Aadal Paadal).

(2.) The learned counsel for the petitioners have submitted that even though the petitioner has submitted representation before the respondent well in advance seeking permission and police protection for conducting temple festival and also for conducting cultural programme, so far the respondents police has not passed any order any hence he requests to direct the respondent police to dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioners at an early date.

(3.) The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) has submitted that because of the law and order problem the representations are kept pending.
