JUDGEMENT

(1.) The prayer in the writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to grant permission to the petitioner for conducting the temple festival of Sree Angala Parameshwari Amman Temple at T.M.Kottai, from 17.04.2019 to 19.04.2019.

(2.) Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 to 5 and the learned counsel for the 6th respondent.

(3.) The temple called Angala Paremeswari Amman Temple, located at T.M.Kottai, (Thirumalukkathan Kottai) at Kadaladi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, where, according to the petitioner as well as the contesting respondent, namely, 6th respondent, once in two years "Chithra Pournami festival", being celebrated in a great manner jointly by majority of the T.Veppankulam village people.
