JUDGEMENT

(1.) This petition has been filed seeking direction to install a Hanuman Statue and also carry on the procession on 7/1/2019.

(2.) According to the petitioner, they have proposed to take the Hanuman Jayanthi Festival on 5/1/2019 and also proposed to conduct the procession on 7/1/2019. For that purpose, he has filed an application before the second and third respondents from 8/12/2018. But, so far no order has been passed. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

(3.) Considering the fact that the petitioner's application is pending with the second respondent and the festival is going to be held tomorrow i.e., on 5/1/2019, the second respondent/Deputy Superintendent of Police, is directed to consider the application filed by the petitioner and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law today itself.
