JUDGEMENT

(1.) This petition has been filed to direct the respondents herein to grant permission and protection to conduct the Adal Padal Programme on 14.11.2019 at 07.00 p.m., to 10.30 p.m., in pursuant to the Ippasi festival of Arulmigu Sri Kaliamman temple situated in V.M. Savadi Street, Allinagaram, Theni, Theni District.

(2.) By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

(3.) The petitioner averred that he is a Member of the Arulmigu Sri Kaliamman temple situated in V.M. Savadi Street, Allinagaram Theni, Theni District. Arulmigu Sri Kaliamman temple Ippasi festival will be conducted on 12.11.2019 to 15.11.2019 and large number of peoples will gather in the said temple to conduct the Ippasi festival. During the festival, a cultural programme like Aadal padal programme to be conducted on 14.11.2019 at about 07.00 p.m., to 10.30 p.m. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation to the second respondent, seeking permission to conduct Aadal padal programme on 30.10.2019, but the respondents have not yet considered till date. Hence, the present petition has been filed.
