JUDGEMENT

(1.) The order of rejection dated 04.12.2014, in relation to the claim of the writ petitioner seeking appointment on compassionate grounds is under challenge in the present writ petition.

(2.) The father of the writ petitioner late Sri Govindasamy, was employed in the office of the respondent and died on 16.01.2004, while he was working as Assistant Agricultural Officer. The mother of the writ petitioner submitted a representation on 02.05.2005 to the District Collector, to provide appointment on compassionate grounds. The Competent Authority considered the case of the writ petitioner and directed him to submit the relevant certificates for the purpose of providing the appointment. The Directorate of Government Examination in proceedings Na.Ka.No.308842/06/V2-2, dated 19.09.2007, replied that the SSLC marks sheet of the writ petitioner was forged and certain unauthorized corrections were made in the SSLC marks sheet.

(3.) In this regard, the Directorate of Government Examination, sent notice to the writ petitioner to submit his explanations within 15 days. The writ petitioner instead of giving reply, neglected the notice issued by the Directorate of Government Examination. Contrarily, the writ petitioner submitted explanation to the third respondent by stating that he attended the SSLC Examination in the year 1995 and had not passed. Subsequently, he joined in Easwari Tutorials and again took up the public examination in the year 1997, and the writ petitioner was declared as passed by the Easwari Tutorials and SSLC marks sheet was given. The petitioner was not aware of the fact that there was unauthorized corrections in the marks sheet during the relevant point of time. Subsequently, the Directorate of Government Examination, suspended the marks sheet of the writ petitioner for a period of two years.
