JUDGEMENT

(1.) The prayer in the Writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue the passport to the petitioner by considering his application bearing No.T.R.1061143208318 pending on the file of the first respondent within a time frame.

(2.) Heard Mr.A.Rahul, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.V.Kathirvelu, learned Assistant Solicitor General appearing for the first respondent and Mr.P.Kannidevan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the second respondent.
