JUDGEMENT

(1.) Instant writ appeal is filed against the order made in W.P.No.22058 of 2008 dated 04.12.2017, by which, writ court directed the management of the Metropolitan Transport Corporation (Chennai) Limited, to refund the contribution paid by the respondent/writ petitioner's husband towards Medical College, Engineering College and Polytechnic and also consider the claim of the respondent for compassionate appointment.

(2.) With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, Writ Appeal itself is disposed of by this order.

(3.) Facts leading to the writ appeal are that the respondent's husband was employed as a driver in the Transport Corporation since 24.12.2007. He was serving till 12.02.2008. He succumbed to the grievous injuries in an accident that occurred on 12.02.2008. On the death of respondent's husband, she submitted an application for grant of three reliefs:
