JUDGEMENT

(1.) The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus forbearing the respondents from in any manner interfering with the activities of the petitioner association's club situated at No.6, Devanathan Street, Mandaiveli, Chennai 600 028 or its members including the facilities provided for playing various games including the game of rummy not involving any element of gambling.

(2.) Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

(3.) The learned Government Advocate, based on instructions, submitted that there is no previous case registered against the petitioner Club.
